2 tbs Minced Garlic
1/2 lbs Bacon
1 cup Corn
2 cups Diced Potatoes
2 cups Diced Carrots
2 cups Diced Celery
2 cups Diced Onion
1/2 cup White Wine
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Flour (Or more)
2 cups Clams
2 cups Clam Juice or Chicken Stock
1L Heavy Cream Dry
1 tbs Dill Dry
1 tbs Basil Dry
1 tbs Parsley Dry
Sauté bacon until it starts to crisp up.
Add the carrots, celery, onion and garlic, cook until onions are to your liking.
Mix 1/2 cup wine and cook off until pan is almost dry.
Then add butter and mix until melted then quickly add your flour, cook until flour sticks to pot and begins to brown.
Add the clams, broth, heavy cream and potatoes. Bring to a soft boil
Then add in all of your dry spices, salt & pepper and corn.
Be sure to enjoy a nice glass of wine for yourself. It is hard work cooking, you deserve it.
