Crashing waves and howling winds are no match for our Charlotte Queen guests. With Mother Nature flirting with us for the past few trips, our persistent guests have won the battle for now. With positive attitudes and great fishing stories to tell throughout the winter months, we have officially found our Hippa gills.
The seas are coming to ease and the Chinook salmon seem to be hanging around the scattered bait along Red Rocks all the way up to the Lighthouse. Dropping between 80 and 120 ft of water drifting with the ways of the ocean we hear “Fish On!” What a great way to start off the morning.
Throughout the morning we can hear coffee being poured and the screams of our mooching reels. Cannot get much better than this. Hippa Island has once again proven it is an amazing fishery.
