Salmon Fishing Hippa Island

In collaboration with Base Camp 40 we hosted a very humbling trip with new friends including wounded warriors, two medal of honor recipients and other military heros who inspired us all and were fishing rock stars, alongside the were six amazing Hippa Veterans to guide our new guests and show them how to Hook Up at Hippa!

Chinooks this month are so feisty they are jumping and tearing off line fast enough to make our mooching reels sing our favorite tune.  Quality Halibut so plentiful, we are releasing keepers left and right, Ling Cod and Yelloweye galore as well.

Trip 4, June 14 - 17

The food spectacular! Pierre’s famous homemade French bread, seared Elk and poached halibut with a mango, cayenne pepper and cumin twist! Who would think to top your fish with red grapefruit slices and fresh mint, the culinary experience will compliment your fishing adventure to perfection. Were else will you get requests for the best carrot cake to bring home in your fish box. Is there a daily limit on carrot cake? All this as well as homemade gluten free almond orange cake, caramel mouse in a hand crafted chocolate cup paired with a chocolate ganache and raspberry garnish ! Only onboard the Charlotte Queen will you be served wedge salad as a side for your lunch with braised short rib ravioli and Manhatan chowdah!

We are living the dream on the Charlotte Queen!
